| SLM (Seal Liquid Monitor) Models 04, 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 13, 15, 35, 50 | |
|---|---|
SLM keeps seals running, it saves money and conserves water. One gallon a minute equals more than 500,000 saved gallons per year. When conventional stuffing boxes or single mechanical seals are used, the sealing water enters into process. The water must either be evaporated or warmed up to the process temperature - huge energy costs. Calculate the savings, and you will see that our SLM payback time is just weeks! |

SLMx-2 Models 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 15, 50 |
|
|---|---|
The dual flowtube SLMx-2 flow meter has an additional feature compared to our standard SLM: the seal condition can be reported so you can schedule your maintenance. In the dual tube setup the first flowtube measures the flow to the seal and the second flow tube measures the flow from the seal (seal drain). If the flow to the seal is less than the flow out of the seal, the seal is leaking from the process. If the flow to the seal is more than the flow from the seal, seal water is leaking into the process. If it is critical to keep the process liquid clean and monitor the seal water condition, pay back is immediate. |
